Position Title: Client Service Officer
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Reports To: Client Service Supervisor

Position Purpose
The Client Service Officer is responsible for providing front-line customer service and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional experience for all prospective and current clients. This role focuses on facilitating the enrollment process, managing general inquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of the learning center under the guidance of the Client Service Supervisor.
Key Performance AreaKey Responsibility
Customer Service & Engagement
  • Provide professional and welcoming customer service to all visitors and prospective learners.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about courses and services.
  • Assist with placement testing coordination and onboarding of new learners.
Enrollment & Retention
  • Facilitate the end-to-end enrollment process, ensuring accurate registration and data entry.
  • Support retention and re-enrollment efforts by building positive relationships with clients and communicating course benefits.
  • Ensure the reception area is welcoming, organized, and stocked with promotional materials.
Administration & Operations
  • Maintain and update accurate learner databases, attendance records, and payment systems.
  • Handle cash transactions, invoicing, and receipting according to the organization's financial policies.
  • Assist in organizing open days, promotional events, and other center activities.
Reporting & Support
  • Collect and record data on inquiry rates and customer satisfaction to support reporting.
  • Ensure all client service activities and data handling comply with privacy standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Person Specification
Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience, & qualification(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, or front-desk operations.
  • Experience in handling basic financial transactions and customer inquiries.
Desirable requirements
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Khmer.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience working within an educational or training institution.
